Objectives:-
- To learn the PLC & SCADA software.
- To understand operation and performance of Industrial Automation.
- To learn the ladder Diagram Logic for Industrial Automation.
- Student will able to program, Troubleshoot, Maintain PLC based System.

Day 01: Industrial Panel Wiring
- Definition of Industrial Automation

Day 02: Industrial Panel Wiring
- Star-Delta Starter Wiring
- Hardware Timer
- Input Interlocking
- Output Interlocking
Day 03: Introduction to Industrial Automation
- Introduction to PLC
- Architecture of PLC (Block Diagram)
- Detail information of PLC components
- Introduction to Field devices (switches, sensors, transmitters etc.)
- Types of Devices (Input, Output, Discrete (Sink & Source), Analog)
- Scan Cycle of PLC
- Introduction to Ladder Logic (programming language for PLC)
- Concepts of NO & NC (Start-Stop Logic)
Day 04: PLC LAB-2(Hardware & Programming)
- Introduction to Allen Bradley and the range of PLC available
- Introduction to AB PLC’s programming software
- Addressing concepts with Bit, Byte & Word
- Downloading, Uploading & Monitoring of program
- Practical on PLC with Programming instructions

- Convert digital logic to ladder logic

DAY 05: PLC LAB-2(Advance Instructions-Timer & Counter Blocks)
- List the three basic types of PLC timers.
- Describe the function of a time-driven circuit
- Differentiate between an ON-delay and an OFF-delay instruction.
- Write a ladder logic program using timers.
- Describe the operating principle of retentive timers.
- Define the two basic types of PLC counters
- Write a ladder logic program using CTU, CTD, and RES
