ME Industry Interaction

Nowadays, The industrial scenario is changing rapidly. Industries are exporting a part of their production and complete with multinationals for the internal market. The focus has shifted to quality products and well trained manpower to produce such products. There has been a greater need for industries to depend on technical institutions for R&D and for supply of highly qualified and skilled manpower. Retraining of the work force has become major activity for all industries. There is, thus a good opportunity for institute to interact with industries for mutual benefits.  Thus the industry institute relation became mutual when the healthy relationship develop between these two systems i.e. Industry and institute.

JCOET has always gives special importance on strong industry institute bonding. For this the college is having dedicated Industry Institute Interaction (III) Cell. The sole objective of this cell is to make a healthy relation between college and industry as well as college and other research institutes. As the goal indicates the college has developed excellent relationship with industry through which the college has been able to achieve many of its objectives such as placements, research, consultancy etc. Strong industry connections are helping the college to bring better placements, summer internships and opportunities to our students for industrial visits. Regularly, many industry professionals conduct guest lecturers for providing students with practical aspects of the concepts that they learn in their classrooms. Through III Cell many faculty members of the college are engaged in making relation with industry to bring them here to give practical exposure & knowledge to the students.

At JCOET, teaching- learning process is oriented to make the students industry ready. Students are therefore given more exposure on practical learning which helps them to meet industry expectations. In addition to providing Placement support to the students in the prestigious organizations, we also facilitate training of our students in the industries during summer and winter vacations, project work for the students in the final year, continuous institute-industry interactions, alumni activities, participation in exhibitions, fairs, seminars and conferences, counseling of the students on job opportunities, facilitating industry visits and Inviting distinguished speakers to add value in our programs. 

Our students today are occupying converted positions in Multinationals, Corporate, PSUs (Public Sector Units) and other organizations with excellent compensation packages.
