The Association of Computer Engineering (ASCE) successfully organized the Fresher Party for the first-year students of the Computer Engineering Department. The event aimed to welcome the new batch of students, introduce them to the faculty and senior students, and provide a platform for them to interact and integrate into the departmental community.

The program was inaugurated by lamplighting with int the hands of Prof. P. D. Thakare HoD Computer Engineering Department, Prof. S. P. Chinte ,Prof. R. V. Deshmukh, Prof. C. Kshirsagar.

The program was conducted under the guidance of ASCE incharge Prof. S. P. Chinte. Mr Shripad Khorgade, ASCE President, Mr. Shashikant Mutkule and Ms. Yashashri Gayaki took efforts for a successful conduction program.

Event Highlights:

  1. Welcoming Ceremony: The event commenced with a warm welcome extended to the fresher students by the faculty members and senior students. It set a positive tone for the evening and helped create a friendly atmosphere.
  2. Ice-breaking Activities: To break the initial hesitation among the new students and encourage interaction, various ice-breaking activities were organized. These included interactive games, group discussions, and team-building exercises. These activities facilitated bonding among the students and helped them feel comfortable in their new environment.
  3. Cultural Performances: The fresher party featured a series of cultural performances including music, dance, and drama, showcasing the diverse talents of the students. These performances not only entertained the audience but also provided a platform for students to showcase their creativity and express themselves.
  4. Interactive Sessions: Informative sessions were conducted by senior students and faculty members on various academic and extracurricular aspects of the department. These sessions aimed to familiarize the new students with the curriculum, research opportunities, clubs, and societies available in the department.
  5. Refreshments: Refreshments were provided during the event, allowing the students to relax and socialize over snacks and beverages. This provided additional opportunities for informal interaction and networking among the attendees.

Recognition of Talent: Outstanding performances and achievements of the students were recognized and appreciated during the event. This not only motivated the students but also encouraged them to actively participate in the various activities organized by the department.
