Induction Ceremony (Reformation of Club) and Guru Pournima

Program Description:The EESA has organized “Guru Pournima& Induction Ceremony” program on the date 27/07/18,Friday at Mechanical Engineering Seminar Hall. For this program, Hon’ble Secretary Dr. Shital A. Watile, HOD of Electrical Engineering Department Prof. Dr. V. G. Neve, all the teaching and non-teaching staff and the students from 2nd, 3rd& Final Year of Electrical Engineering were present.
After the speech of Hon’ble Secretary and HOD Prof. Dr. V. G. Neve, the Induction Ceremony was started. In which all the EESA club members are inducted by their post.
On the occasion of Guru Pournima, all the teaching staff of Electrical Engineering Department was felicitated by the roses and the gifts.
Guest Lecture on “Health Awareness” by Dr. Chetan Darane

Program Description:On the occasion of 72th Independence Day, EESA has organized a Guest Lecture on “Health Awareness” for all the students of Electrical Engineering Department on the date 14/08/2018, Tuesday in BhatkarSemiar Hall, 03:00 pm to 05:00 pm. The guest was Dr. ChetanDarane. The tips given by Dr. ChetanDarane in this program are as under,
1.Be passionate.
2. Wake up 1 Hour before sunrise at 05:00 am
3. At least 10 minutes remind what you have done yesterday before going to sleep.
4. Give 10 minutes for preplanning what you have to do today.
5.Note down it on paper.
6.Always be positive.
Industrial Visit of Second Year Students to “The Solar Power Plant” provided by rural department of MSEDCL, Manjerda, Yavatmal

Visit Description:The 38students from Second Year with two faculty members Prof. Ms. P.H.Kadam and Prof. Mr. A.A. Zade went to Industrial Visit to the Solar Power Plant provided by rural department of MSEDCL on 02/08/2018 by the college bus at 12:30 p.m. We reached the Solar Power Plant at 01:37 p.m. Office Members of production received us at the entrance and gave a brief introduction of this plant. A set of 40 solar panels forming a Table. Each of solar panels is internally connected with each other through optical fibercables which are then passed over SMPS box.SMPS transmitter is a solar energy transmitter which transfers solar energy towards alternator and control system. The alternator converts solar to electrical and transmits towards transformer.
Industrial Visit of Third Year Students to “33 KV Substation, M.S.E.D.C., Yavatmal”

Visit Description:The 32students from Third Year with two faculty members Prof. Ms. M. D. Hedau and Prof. Mr. A.A. Zade went to Industrial Visit to 33 KV Substation, M.S.E.D.C., Yavatmal on date 03/08/2018 by the college bus at 01:30 p.m.One ADE and one assistant engineergave a brief introduction of thissubstation. They explained about all the essentials and components of the 33KV substation. Also they explained about CT and PT and various programming done in the control room i.e, PLC control, Control Panel, Transformer, CT and PT, Lightening arrester
Fresher’s Welcome Program
Date, Time and Venue of Program:06/10/2018, 03:00 pm to 07:00 pm, Civil Building Era, JCOET,Yavatmal.
Program Description:The program was inaugurated in the presence of Hon’ble H.O.D. of Electrical Engineering Department Dr. V.G. Neve and all the Teaching and Non-teaching Staff and Students of Electrical Engineering Department.The program started with a Welcome Ceremony and worship of Goddess Saraswatiand felicitation of all teachers and motivational speech by the Hon’ble H.O.D. for the bright future of students. This program was organized for introducing the Freshers to department and vice versa.
Industrial Visit of Final Year Students to Paras Thermal Power Plant, Paras
Date, Time and Venue of Visit: 12/10/2018, 06:00 a.m. Paras Thermal Power Plant, Paras
Visit Description: The total 45 students from Final Year Electrical Engineering with four faculty members Prof. Ms. E. A. Rangari, Prof. Mr. P. S. Wankhade, Prof. Mr. A.A. Zade, Prof. Ms. P. H. Kadam went to Industrial Visit to Paras Thermal Power Plant, Paras on date 12/10/2018 by travels at 06:00 a.m. Two Assistant Engineers Mr. Langote and Mr. Khond gave us a brief introduction of the plant. They explained and shown all the sections of power plant i.e. Coal Handing Plant, Water Treatment Plant, Boilar Section, Turbine Section, Plant Control Room. The students got practical knowledge of generation field from this visit and this visit is very beneficial for the Final Year students.
WORKSHOP ARRANGED
A one day workshop on “AutoCAD and Revit Map” was arranged on 05/01/2018 in Civil Seminar hall. The Speaker for the event was Mr. Purvesh Ajane
- The training program on ‘AutoCAD in Electrical’ was inaugurated on 25th Sept. 2017 in civil seminar hall at Jagadambha College of Engg. & Technology, Yavatmal. The workshop was of 5 days from 25/09/2017 – 29/09/2017. Trainers for the workshop were Mr. Santosh Nandanwar and Mr. Murtuzacochinwala. Participants for the program were near about 35 Students. All the applications of AutoCAD in electrical field were discussed and practicals were performed.

SHORT TERM TRAINING PROGRAM FOR FACULTY (STTP)
A STTP was arranged for all the faculties of electrical engineering department from 27th December 2016 to 31st December 2016 on “MATLAB AND ITS APPLICATION”. Trainers for the program were Dr. G. M. Dhole, Professor, R.H.S.C.O.E., Nashik, Dr. P. M. Meshram, Assoc. Professor, Y.C.C.E., Nagpur, Dr. S. P. Gawande, Asst. Professor, Y.C.C.E., Nagpur, Prof. S. S. Jadhao, Asst. Professor, S.S.G.M.C.E, Shegaon, Dr. V. G. Neve, Professor & Head of Electrical Engg. Dept., JCET, Yavatmal. Faculties from different colleges in yavatmal district also participated in the STTP.
GUEST LECTURES & EXPERT TALK
- An Expert talk was arranged about Importance of applying for membership of IEI by Prof. P. W. Bhoyar (Executive founder of district engineers group, Yavatmal) on 23/08/2016 from 4.00 PM to 5.00 PM at civil Seminar hall.
- A Guest lecture was organized on 24/03/2017 at 3.00 PM to 5.00 PM by Mr. Ravi Pawar, Assistant Engineer, Mahagenco. Topics Covered were 1) How the Inventions in Electrical Engg. Takes place, Inventors life and their Inventions. 2) How to crack Government Exams. 3) How to study effectively and achieve best in life.
PARENT MEET
Parent meeting was arranged in the electrical engineering department to build up a healthy chain between the faculties and the parents of students to look after the overall development of the students.
Parent meet for academic year 2016-17 Sem-I was conducted on 02/10/2016 at 2:00 pm. 50 and above parents of the students were present for the parent meet. It was a friendly meeting between the parents and the faculties of the department were performance of each student at the sessional was discussed and the progress report was given to parents by their class incharges
Parent meet for the academic year 2016-17 Sem-II was held on 25/03/2017 from 12.00 to 03.00 PM at Civil seminar hall. Feedback from parents was taken, information about their ward was given in academic as well as extracurricular activities
